- Matthew told me I was hedonistic yesterday. I didn’t even know what it meant. He explained that a hedonist is a person who seeks pleasure in everything he or she does. Matthew sounded so accusing and moralizing when he called me hedonistic that I genuinely thought it was some kind of a horrible title for the sinful. I mean, what’s wrong with seeking non-stop pleasure everywhere you go? It’s a natural desire as well as, for instance, desire to live and travel light and in full comfort. In any case, our conversation resulted in a total misunderstanding when he called me the name which I don’t even remember now. I’ve always known Matthew was the smartest man on Earth, but I think he should behave a bit simpler, if he wants people to treat him right that is.
